But i promise that's the normal 3D figure from clip studio I always use.... those hands never looked that big before oO Spoiler alert!!! If you don't know Togainu no Chi and want to read/play it, don't read this below! Like you see, I choose the good ending, because I love it so much. I know many despice it because Shiki looses all his will to live. I too don't really understand why they made him crumble that far, I understand that it's hard for him to archive a new goal so easily. But he should be able to with Akira being by his side the whole time. They already showed that Akira was his new source of life, because he lead him out of Toshima and into a new life. When he lost all his will to life, he would have give a shit about leading Akira out of this place and make the effort to help him into a new life. It's sad that he crumbles away like that. But I love this ending because their relationship is that of pure love, not a warped, ugly, forced relationship like in the other two endings. Sure there they are together and "happy" in their own way, but so incredible broken down, way more then in the good ending. There is another point why i love this ending, because in the Drama CD it is said that Shiki isn't really crumbling down, but more like in a self made coma where he reviews his life and wakes up in the end, calling out for Akira. I never heard the Drama CD but they often got overseen by the original authors and artists, so I believe that the ending of the Drama CD shows the real good ending. So they will have a nice relationship again, it will be hard for Shiki to come back and get his old strengh back, but he will definitely make it and maybe they continue to live like they life right now, wandering from one place to another, enjoying the nature and life itself to the fullest, while they fight of their pursuers together. I think that's a really nice future for them, fitting to both of their characters. Shiki can finally enjoy life together with Akira, without being obsessed to hunt down his own shadow of fear the whole time. There is a doujin out there i really love too, they choose the good ending too and many people bashed in the comments why they did that, why they choosed the sad ending. Many of them seem to totally overlook that Shiki wakes up at the end of the doujin. It's really faint, the movement of his hands and fingers, but it's definitely there and Akira notices it too. First he is shocked and then his expression changes into glee and hope. It's such a beautiful end. That's why i choose that motive. Akira kissing Shiki sitting in his wheelchair, still not noticing that Shiki reacts with reaching out to him, because his touch and movement is so slow and he is about to touch him faintly. But just a second later Akira will realize it and will open his eyes in shock and hope. |
