Christmas Time von loire (EnglandxFem!Reader + Englandx?) ================================================================================ Kapitel 1: EnglandxFem!Reader ----------------------------- Dear [your best friends name, please], The winter is coming. Well, not to me, I think. The reason of this is that the English weather is nearly as always. Foggy and windy and of course rainy. I noticed the change from fall to winter, because the stores are selling Christmas stuff now. And my host family and I decorated the whole house with lights and such things. It was a decorating day, when I first noticed the strange neighbour. He also fixed some lights outside. The boy of my host family (Tim) was scared of his grumpy face. "He's always alone and never smiles." Tim pointed out. I smiled about this. Then I replied: "You wouldn't smile, too, if you are alone. And that's why I go over there. Maybe I can help." I went over to the young man. My try to talk with him wasn't really successful, I guess. I said my name and asked him, whether I may help him. He murmured his name is Arthur and he don't need help. But to me it sounded like he first tried to say another name and something completely other than: "No, no help needed. It's normal business to me." I shrugged my shoulders and said "I'm au pair in Mr. Jones Family. So, if you need help.", before I went back. We went on working for an hour and I took some looks over to his house, but it seemed like he was gone. And he didn't show up again unless we tried to make some biscuits. We didn't have had enough eggs and it would have taken to long to go to the next supermarket. I took this fact as a chance to see him again. I couldn't say, but I was fascinated by Arthur. Well, I walked over and knocked at his door. From inside came music, music I didn't expect. It was 'The Clash', my father is sometimes listening to it too. I tried it again by knocking at his front door, but nobody reacted. So I went to the window. There were movements behind to see, that was why I tried it with knocking at the window. It didn't took long and the window opend. His face of surprise was that funny I started to laugh. Before he could close the window again I tried to bring up the reason of my visit and a little excuse for laughing at him. It worked, he ordered me to wait at the door and came a moment later with many more eggs then we needed. I told him this fact, but he answered something about old eggs, I couldn't follow it completely. His eyes were to fascinating to me. They are green mostly and I would have loved to find out what the other colour was. But he noticed my focus and asked, if I'm okay. I tried to pull myself together, said I was fine and asked him if I was right about the musik. I had realized, it was still playing in the background. It seemed like he blushed a little, before he confirmed that I was right with 'The Clash'. And then I couldn't follow him again, because he said, he saw their debut at the 'Sex Pistols' gig while he had an especially horrible day and needed something like that. At this point he stopped for a moment and I put on for a question to the date, but then he spoke again: "Good music, isn't it?" I just nodded and thanked for the eggs, before I went back to home. It was something unspoken which made me feel like not to question too much. But I still wonder, I thought he couldn't have been at this gig, because The Clash was in the late 70's. And I was right, I asked the Net and found that the gig, he might have spoken about, was in 1976. How can that work? He looks like nearly the same age as me. But okay, I'm telling all this, because of what happend at our next meeting. He made a call to us and asked, if I don't want to come over and help him with some gifts. He said, he needed someone with more experience to the youngher minds than he has. Like he is a grandfather! But okay, I went over. He showed me some things and talked a bit about the persons he want to give presents to. It sounded odd at times, but I ignored it and did my best to help him. And then, I don't know anymore why, we stood close to each other and his fingers laid on mine. I was watching in his eyes, but still didn't get it and therefore I just closed my eyes. The next moment he kissed me! Such a big surprise to me and everything I wished for. After the kiss he said: "Maybe we should meet more often?" I couldn't speak, so I just nodded. Until then we meet whenever I can. It's unbelievable! Each time we kiss and he knows so much about English tradition, history and culture I've learnt a lot in this short time. I can't wait for the next time we will meet (after Christmas, I guess). I'll write you then again. But for know that's it. Wish you and your family a merry Christmas!
