Wie schon beim Workshop und bei der Filmfestvorführung im Sommerkino vor einem Jahr, war die Anzahl an Teilnehmer überschaubar - aber ich denke viel mehr kann man sich (noch) nicht erwarten von einem Fake-Panel. Aber da wir ohnehin nach Stunden und nicht nach Leistung entlohnt werden, sind wir positiv auch 2014 ein Panel in Kassel halten zu dürfen. Für alle (also wirklich alle) die es verpasst haben, hier die Highlights aus dem "Acht Uhr Panel". Danke auch an One-Winged Angel, der sich freundlicher Weise bereit erklärt hat, das Panel zu filmen und uns die Aufnahmen zu schicken! Kommentare:

The days are getting shorter but the Anime season goes even longer. The lineup for fall 2013 airing, this October was just a blast! So time for Chang, Haru, Ohki and me to grab us a cool drink and sit down, to talk about three specific series, we choose to watch. In roughly 60 minutes we will share our first opinions about those three shows and make predictions how they might evolve. But as you might already figure out: It is extremely hard to find a good version of such brand new series and even If I found one, it will stay up for maybe one week and then get deleted by the license company. And I'm not willing to replace those links every time a video gets shut down. The round table discussions in Kassel in our beloved TRYP Hotel (former Domus) are our major Late Nights. No other talking session during the year comes closer to the original formula behind our show "Edi Late Night Christiansen". And this formula is very simple: A leisurely chat in a stylish ambience, with nice guests and a cool drink served. In this "Edi Late Night Christiansen" we chat along with Nunuki, Nüs-schen and Ribbit from the Austrian performing group "Back on Stage -- Onigiri" Back on Stage celebrated their Connichi debut with "Alice Returns" at the main stage on Saturday. Founded back in 2008, Back on Stage is one of the oldest and most enduring groups in Austria. Together with Mika, Ohki and Edi from the "Die Con ist Heiss" KREW we are facing topics like their road to Connichi 2013, the new play "Alice Returns", being among other show groups and of course we did sum up the Connichi 2013 in general, as well as our personal experiences.
