Beschreibung: After almost two years of absence, BRICK2K is back in action. Finally they do return to the screen with a new series of short clips called "Instant Classics" -- you know because the older episodes are marked as "BRIK2K classics".

This time the subject is about a phenomenon often seen at conventions. Photographers taking pictures of Cosplayer nearby, or even next to a tree. I'm pretty sure you all know those photos when the model is poking out from behind the tree or even worse, the Cosplayer is hugging the tree.

What is the purpose of this ritual? Prof. Dr. Edhutschek and his Team is about to find out the true meaning behind this spectacle.

Beschreibung: This time we've special installment of „Pure Win Figure Photo" for you to preset!

Ohki Kaze and Edi Edhutschek build Kotobukiyas 1/1 scaled plastic model kit of Combat-San from the Anime OVA "Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-san" Basically it is a simple cut and click model kit that leads to nice and highly posable figure. More often you can see those kits used for Mechas of the series Gundam, commonly called Gunpla. But this set of figures from Kotobukiya will satisfy both Anime figure collectors and plastic model kit fans!

Depending on your personal skill and the size of the model kit it will take up 3-5 hours to complete on set. So we did film this regular speed and show the footage to you guys in fast forward. And now you can watch how in less than seven minutes a little Combat-san is raised from the grid.

Besides, the beautiful Eurobeat remix from "Spring Lane ~ Colorful Path" is done by C0de Slasher -- go and check out his YouTube channel for more awesome Touhou related remixes:

The reason why we do this in English rather than our native language is simply that we guess, our main fan base and/or visitors to our site and our deviantART accounts are mostly native English speaking people or at least not German. So be a gent and do not mock because of the speech.

Until then, see you next time for another "Pure Win Figure Photo"

Beschreibung: Welcome to our late night talk straight from the MinGarden Hotel in Düsseldorf, due to the „Doitsu Comicu Maaketo" 2013 . And once again we are not alone -- joining us tonight: Diesel and MexxKite. Well known around German conventions for their fabulous videos, such as CMVs, Showcases and fan short films related to our scene. And they also represent the official DCM 2013 video team. So we take the opportunity to sit down for a bit and having an intense conversation about this year's German Cosplay Championship, the Dokomi and filming at Conventions in general.

When you see this video, Diesel and Mexx already filmed three out five preliminary awards and in my opinion they do a wonderful job so far. If you are curious to see the DCM videos or some of their "daily work" check out the links below:

Beschreibung: What's up Boys and Girls? This is Rick App on the mic for your listening pleasure and you are watching to my fabulous show Rec.ap! On Rec.ap I will fill your mind and soul with the funky music from the seventies and the eighties -- and of course the best what is left from yesterday's conventions.

Today's event is the one and only Doitsu Comicu Maaketo also called Dokomi. It took place in Germany's town with the highest proportion of Japanese people: Düsseldorf. If that's not a good sign, what else is one!?

So come along and join Edi and his KREW on their adventures in North Rhine-Westphalia, while I will spoil your ears with a groovy soundtrack back from 1985.

"Tschüssinger" and stay funky!

Yours Rick

Beschreibung: Shana and her rival classmate Kazumi doing a little extra "exercise" after school -- and we all know: Physical education is serious business in Japan!
If you are wondering about the scaled gym equipment -- it didn't come along with the figures. I crafted them myself.

Beschreibung: Ladies and Gentleman, fellow Anime lovers -- It is a great pleasure for me to introduce to our brand new show called "I want you to watch". Basically you can describe it like a book club for animated series which are currently aired in Japan.

The plot: Every Anime season, each of my three studio guests will pick a series, we all watch it to a specific point and afterwards we share our opinions and thoughts among ourselves and our viewers. So that in the end I showed you three brand new series and hopefully arouse your curiosity.

Joining me on this mission are my three long-time friends and passionate Anime watchers for a long, long time: Chang, Haru and Ohki Kaze from our KREW. And with me as a host, together we want you to inform, to keep you entertained and of course, we want you to watch!

This shows series: Shingeki no Kyojon (Attack on Titan)

Side Notes: Please keep in mind that this is only the pilot episode for "I want you to watch" with only one selected series but with a lot more explanations and annotations in it. We still trying out a couple of things and not everything is as polished as it will be in the final episodes, starting in July 2013. It basically was more a test to prove that everything will work together in the end.
