Part One: After the Funeral

„In nomine patri et filii et spiritus sancti. Amen...“

That’s the end. The coffin disappears under the clods of soil. People part slowly. No one is willing to suffer under the cruel midday sun any more. Only gravediggers remain to finish their work.

“He was a good man. He always cared about his family...”

“His daughter is like him. Such a nice girl! The death of her father has affected her deeply.”

//Sae, my older sister... She loved father... But it was her father, not mine!//

“... but his son.... A total rascal! He’s always coming home drugged...”

This kind of talk usually drove Kato mad. But today he didn’t have enough strength to yell something out at those bigmouthed hags, however, he wished for it very much. He would have said to them what “a good man” his father was, how he ignored him and didn’t care about him, how he beat him when he did something bad until there were bruises all over his body, how he cared only for Sae. Sae, who was both loved and hated by her younger brother so much.

During the funeral he couldn’t even look at her. He knew she suffered because of these awful talks. But the crones were right. Everyone, who looked at him at the moment, knew what was going on immediately. He barely stood on his feet, shivered with cold and cold sweat trickled down his forehead. Why today? Why exactly today has he to be without his “feed”?

//Bastard Bobby! He’ll pay for this! He said he was coming back the other week and he never appeared! Furthermore, he neither let a gram for me! At least he could contact me with trustworthy people, who provide quality goods...//

He looked at his mother, who was leaving with other people. She didn’t even give him a look. He better went another way.

“Yu-kun!” a familiar voice spoke behind his back. It was Sae.

“Where are you going? Come home with me. You look terrible.”

“Leave me alone, Sae!”

“Yu-kun!”

//Just away from her!// He left her standing there, abandoned and sad.

//Forgive me, Sae. But I have nothing more to say to you//.

He roamed around the side streets and fought with his own faintness. Shivering fit was overcoming him and he felt unnaturally sick. //Bobby will pay for...//

“Finally awake? You had a hard night.”

It was a familiar voice, but Kato couldn’t remember at all where he knows it from. His eyes wide open, but the only thing he could see were colourful blots.

“You should stop with that muck, if you don’t want to follow your father.”

//You should stop with that muck...// He’d heard that sentence somewhere before. But who from? His head was empty and in addition to it he had such a headache as if his head was about to explode.

“Hey, Kato? Are you listening to me?”

He looked the way the voice was coming from, but he could see only blurred contour of a figure. He rubbed his eyes and looked at the figure again. Finally it started to take a clearer shape.

“Ki... Kira?”

“Bingo! How do you feel?”

“Horrible.”

“It serves you right. You should have think of it earlier.”

“Shut up!”

Silence.

“Where am I?”

“At my place in my bed.”

“I didn’t want to know it so exactly,” groused Kato and tried to get from under a blanket.

“And what would you like to know instead? How you lied in that filthy street unconscious? You was lucky that I found you after all.”

These words touched Kato. He couldn’t remember anything.

“I don’t want to hear any more!”

“As you wish,” said Kira and left the room.

Part One: Conversation in the Park

Hello there! So this is the second chapter of my fanfiction. I hope you like it. It is too sweet (too much sugar), but it was my first ff and I really liked writing it :) So viel Spass!

Conversation in the Park

“Yue, where have you been all the night?”

Mother’s cry sounded in a whole house.

“Don’t be hysteric. I was by Kira,” answered the son apathetically.

His mother continued shouting, but he only passed her lackadaisically, went into his room and closed the door. He threw himself onto a bed exhausted.

//A bit of the feed would be great.//

The thought of Kira came into his mind. //Damn, must he always be right?// It made him even angrier. He tried to think about something else, but his thoughts still took the course to the morning. He couldn’t just lay there and do nothing. He should better go out to breathe some fresh air. At least he wasn’t so sick as before.

“Where are you going again?” his mother shouted after him.

“Out,” he answered with that apathetic tone of his voice again.

“You aren’t going anywhere! You’re staying at home!”

“Yes, mum,” he said when he was closing the door behind his back.

It was hot as the day before. //Maybe I’ll be lucky and meet someone helpful.// He didn’t even know where he was going. He dug in his pockets for a forgotten cigarette, but found nothing. His mood reached the freezing point.

He headed for a park. He sat down in a shadow of a tree and closed his eyes. Gentle breeze stroked his face. For a moment he felt as if nothing of this world mattered. Unless he opened his eyes...

Kira was standing right in front of him and this made Kato to think of his helplessness. Being close to Kira he suddenly felt as if he was nobody.

“Cigarette?”

“Get away, I don’t smoke!”

“You seem so,” said Kira ironically, but calmly. Kato looked at him. //The way he said that... He doesn’t pity me, does he!?// Kato’s anger grew bigger.

“What do you want from me? Leave me alone!”

Kira didn’t make a move. “You’re really hopeless...”

//What is he talking about? He wants to tease me?//

“Shut up or I’ll beat you up your own mother won’t...” //Oops. Kira doesn’t have mother. Now I’ve messed it completely up.//

“Calmed down already?” Kira sat down next to Kato.

//That strange tone...//

“What’s the matter?” Kira asked.

//Oh, my god, that tone! I can’t resist it anymore...//

“I hate you!”

“All right. Anything else?”

“You act as saint, you think you know everything, that you are the cleverest one, but you know nothing about the feelings of others! You mix into my life and don’t know what I’m going through!”

“If you say it to me, I will know.”

//Why is he so calm? What is he up to? I hate him! I don’t care, what he’ll do to me, I won’t fight back.//

“You’re such a bastard! I can’t get what everybody sees on you!”

//If he’s a man he’ll make me pay for this.//

“You’re an idiot, Kato. You’re an incorrigible idiot.” So long Kira’s tone was still calm.

//What is it? He’s not going to beat me up? Last time it was Ren who paid for calling him nance. And he let me call him names? What is he up to? Or it’s not his day?//

“Kira?”

“Hm?”

“Go to hell!”

“That’s enough,” Kira said. “You behave like a child. You have a problem and instead of trying to solve it, you pity yourself. Fight. You do have enough strength to handle it. You just need to really want to. You are not nobody, are you?”

“No, I’m not!”

“Prove it!”

Kato was confused. He didn’t know what to answer. //Does...does he believe me? Maybe...//

“Kira?”

“Hm?”

“Do you think I can do it?”

“I’m sure.”

“But... but I can’t do it alone.”

“And what do you want from me?”

“I... I want you... not to leave me alone.”

“Do you want me to help you?”

Kato was embarrassed. “You can say that...” he said quietly.

He looked at Kira wondering what he thinks about the whole thing. Kira was smiling.

“If you ever need my help, I’m here,” he said with that strange tone again. Those words were like a balm for Kato’s hurt soul.

He came back home late in the evening. Perhaps, mother felt sorry for her screaming at him, because she didn’t say anything but called him kindly for supper.

“I’m sorry, but I don’t have appetite.”

“You was away the whole day. You could just a bit...”

“All right then,” he said.

It cost him exceedingly lots of power to get something into stomach. He was still sick.

“Sorry, but I can’t any more. I go to bed.”

“Good night,” said mother gently. She didn’t talk to him like this for a long time. Very long time...

He stepped into his room and closed the door quietly. The lonely star he could see from a place he was standing on caught his attention. He got lost in his thoughts. He felt like that star, all alone in the darkness. He came up to a window and starred at the star. Suddenly he realized the star was not alone, that there was another one beside it he hadn’t seen before.

//If you ever need me, I’m here,// sounded in his ears. The tone of the sentence was full of gentleness and sympathy.

//Exactly that says that star to the one that seemed to me so alone,// he thought and he felt joy of closeness of the stars.

//If you ever need me, I’m here.//

His own thought puzzled him. Those are Kira’s words, aren’t they? Sincere, gentle, full of feelings.

He felt pleasant heat inside of his body. His heart was beating wildly.

Kira...

He lay down onto the bed. He was thinking about their conversation in the park. Desire to be with Kira again overwhelmed him totally. For some unexplainable reason he started to miss him. His heart was still beating crazy. He closed his eyes and tried to calm down.

“Kira...” he whispered into the darkness and fell asleep.

Part One: Feeling

Destination of Kato was clear. He went to Kira’s place. Despite not knowing what to say yet, he didn’t intend to give up. If he doesn’t do it now, he’ll never do it.

He noticed Kira repairing his motorbike in front of his house.

“Hey, Kira!” he shouted at him.

“Kato?”

“Do you have some time?”

“Well,” he looked at his dirty T-shirt. “I think I could have any. Something important?”

“Not really. I’d just like...” started Kato hesitating.

Kira was looking at him in expectation what would he say. It discouraged him a little.

“I’d like...”

“Just say it finally.”

“I’d like to apologise for my behaviour yesterday,” he spilt out.

“Are you O.K.?” asked Kira surprised.

“Yeah, sorry for disturbing you! I better go!” said Kato insulted and wanted to leave.

“Kato!” Kira shouted at him. “Stop acting like a baby and come in!”

Kato looked at Kira, as he stood there dirty of oil and dust. Suddenly the same feeling as the day before, the same eagerness overcame him. His heart started beating faster. He felt that pleasant heat again. He remembered the lonely star that wasn’t lonely at all, he just needed to look at it from a different spot.

//All right. I’ll try to look at it from a different spot.//

They came in. Kira sent Kato to his room to wait for him while he washed himself. Kato sat onto a bed. That strange feeling was getting stronger.

//What’s the matter with me? Perhaps I’m going crazy.//

Kira came into the room holding a dirty T-shirt in his hand. For an unknown reason looking on his naked chest embarrassed Kato. He felt as he blushed.

//I’m really crazy!//

In that moment he realized something. He had never seen Kira like that and the reason for it was evidently a big stain of blood on his chest.

//What does it mean?//

Kira sat next to him. Kato felt the atmosphere in the room got thicker. He could feel Kira’s uncertainty.

//Kira and uncertain? No, that’s not possible.//

Kato looked carefully at Kira to find out what was going on.

“What I told you yesterday in the park I meant it all seriously…” Kira started, his voice trembled a little, “… but there’s still something for what you’ll probably refuse not only my help, but also my entire being.” His last words were spoken quietly, as if it was something, what shouldn’t have been said aloud.

Kato sat in silence listening. He had never seen Kira like this before. He didn’t know what to think of it.

“I’m not the one you think I am. I’m evil immortal spirit who tries to find an exact soul and to be close to it in its continual circle of lives on Earth. I’m not able of human feelings. But why then…”

Kato got the feeling the last words didn’t belong to him. Evidently Kira got lost in his thoughts and didn’t realize he was speaking aloud.

“… why then your sorrow makes me feel sad, too? Why I feel so well when you are here? Why I want to be always by your side? Why I want to help you from the darkness you’ve got lost in so much?”

Somehow, Kato started to worry about Kira’s mental health.

“I… I think I should better go,” he said and stood up for leaving.

“Don’t!” shouted Kira, grabbed his hand and pulled him onto the bed. Kato wasn’t even able to realize how he ended up in Kira’s hug.

“Don’t go…” whispered Kira. “Stay…”

It was too much for Kato. His heart was beating wildly, heat overcame him. There was a big chaos in his head. He didn’t know what to do. He wanted to shove Kira away, but on the other hand he couldn’t, because as long as he lingered in his embrace the feeling of pleasure was getting stronger.

//What is it?//

He shivered. Kira might have felt it, because he raised his head finally and looked carefully into his eyes. Kato couldn’t bear that look of his so he quickly looked elsewhere. His face was burning. Kira smiled softly and stroked him.

Kato shivered again. He wasn’t able to think about something else, but that gentle touch of Kira’s hand. He longed for repetition.

Kira hugged him even tighter.

//No, not…!// thought Kato, but he wasn’t able to free himself. He didn’t want to. He thought he was going crazy. He wasn’t realizing any more what he was doing; he could feel just Kira’s closeness, which overwhelmed him completely.

His hands slipped onto Kira’s back. He let his feelings to come out. He hugged Kira and whispered to his ears: “Thank you… thank you…”

“What for?” asked Kira without letting him go.

“For your being by my side…” whispered Kato and in his last words sounded an unknown feeling.

So, this is next chapter of my ff. I hope, you like it. To make the translation is not so easy and I need some time to translate next chapter. See you next time!

Part One: Kiss

Hello! Thanks to all of you who have already read my story. Now I am bringing you new chapter. Thanks to good souls who favorisiert the fanfic. Viel Spass!

Kiss

Kato was sitting on a bed flipping through a book. From time to time he tried to read something of it, but the characters were blending into one. He didn’t perceive them. He thought about what had happened just a minute ago. He was confused.

Sometimes a sound of jingling came from the kitchen. //What is he doing there, anyway?//

At last he managed to read something. It cost him big effort to concentrate on words. A sound of breaking glass definitely ended his endeavour.

“Damn!” he could hear Kira.

He put the book away and went to the kitchen to find out what had happened. Kira was bending over a pile of shards all over the floor.

“Wow, really cool,” he said hoping that his mocking tone would lighten the tenseness between them.

Kira was picking up the shards and didn’t pay any attention to Kato.

“Ouch... Dammit!” A tiny spring of blood flowed from a cut on his finger. A minute later it completely disappeared, there was no sign of the cut or blood.

Kira lowered his head and didn’t move.

//I’m evil immortal spirit...// Kato got the feeling that he started to understand. Kira had let him know his secret. It was up to him now how he would deal with this knowledge. He can leave and talk to Kira never more. But he didn’t like this choice.

//No matter what he really is, he’s still the same Kira who followed me to the park. I can’t possibly go and let him be like that. At least I’ll prove I’m not nobody as everyone thinks of me!// This decision delighted him. He felt how his lost self-respect was returning.

“Are you waiting for that mess tidying up itself?” he asked light-heartedly and started picking up the shards. He was satisfied with himself. Kira watched him in amazement for a while, and then he started collecting the broken glass as well.

The shards disappeared, there was no sign of them on the floor.

Kira sat to the table and looked exhausted. Kato sat next to him. He didn’t feel very energetic either. He laid his head on the table and closed his eyes. The memory of the stars came to his mind.

Kato woke up suddenly. The light in the kitchen indicated that it was already late. Did he fell asleep? He was disoriented a little. //Where’s Kira?// He stood up and left the kitchen.

He found Kira in his room lying on his bed sleeping. There was an opened magazine next to him.

Kato was looking at him in some kind of expectation. His breath quickened. He sat on the bed and watched sleeping Kira. Peace reflected in his face made it even more gentle. Kato listened to the sound of his regular breath. It was as a drug for him. He stopped realizing the world around, it was just Kira and he, and nothing else existed for him in that moment.

He wasn’t really thinking about what he was doing. His acting yielded to some stronger will than his. He bent above Kira’s face. It seemed so beautiful, perfect, nearly angelic. He looked at his mouth and bent lower.

His heart was beating peacefully. Also his breath slowed down. He felt only pleasant warm coming out from an unknown source in his body.

His lips touched Kira’s. Time stood still. All Kato’s feelings joined in that one fervent kiss, so warm and so heartfelt.

The trance he went into was ended by Kira’s embrace. He looked at him embarrassed. Kira was smiling and hugged him even stronger. The tips of their noses were nearly touching. They were looking deep into eyes of one another. Kato couldn’t believe what was going on at the moment. He thought he was just dreaming. He felt as happy as he hadn’t for a long time.

Kira kissed him as fervidly as he did before. Everything was so beautiful, so exciting...

They kissed again. And then again and again and again...

There was sound of the key in the door lock.

They looked at each other, surprise and panic in their eyes.

“Sakuya!” voice of a man reached their ears.

“Father! He’s come a day earlier! Stand up, hurry!” said Kira whispering, so that his father could not hear him. He shoved Kato aside. He quickly stood up and went to welcome his dad.

Kato sat instantly and took a magazine lying on the bed. He tried to calm down, but his hands were still shaking of anxiety.

“What are you doing here? Weren’t you supposed to come yesterday?” he heard Kira talking to his father.

“The meeting was cancelled, so I’ve come back today.”

Kato left the room.

“I better go home,” he told to Kira.

“‘kay. See you.”

“Goodbye,” greeted Kato Kira’s father and went home.

Part One: Tempting Powder

Hallo! It was some time since I had added last chapter. Now I coming with new one. I hope you like it.

Here we go!

Tempting Powder

Kato used his all strength to fall asleep, but he couldn’t. He was already desperate. He looked at his watch. It was too long he was trying for impossible. He got out of his bed and came to a window. In the sky there were the same shining stars he had seen the night before, but this time they were much closer to each other. He sat on the windowsill and looked at them. Kira’s face appeared in his mind.

Kato thought about himself. He didn’t have any reproaches. If it were other guys from their gang, he might have laugh at them, maybe he would have criticise them. But not himself. As for himself he didn’t mind. And he’d have damned incestuous love between brother and sister, too, just in case it wouldn’t have been himself. To himself he’d have been extremely tolerant.

//Kira, you bastard! You’ve got dangerously close!// His own thoughts amused him.

He got back to the bed. He couldn’t wait for the next morning, he looked forward for Kira.

“It’s time to wake up, honey! You surely don’t want to sleep the whole day.”

Kato looked at his watch. He slept just two, maybe three hours.

“What’re you doin’ here? Who’s let you in?” he asked Kira, who stood next to the bed.

“Your mum, who else? She went to your sister. She said she was staying there until the other day evening.”

“All right. What did you say at the beginning?”

“You mean that part about not sleeping the whole day?”

“No. I mean how you called me.”

“Honey?”

“Don’t call me that again!”

“Sorry. I just hoped it might’ve got you out of the bed.”

“I slept only two hours, ‘cause you’ve come here and woken me up,” said Kato with reproach.

“As for me I didn’t sleep at all.”

“Were you reading that Baudelaire again?”

“Not exactly. I was thinking of you, Yun-chan,” answered Kira with a mysterious expression on his face.

“Can’t you stop talking rubbish already? I’d prefer if you brought me the breakfast into the bed.” Kato chuckled: “... Saa-chan?”

“I’ve got a better idea.” Kato didn’t like the tone. “If you do not get out of the bed, I’m coming to you.”

“No way!” Kato crawled from under the blanket.

“What a pity!” laughed Kira and left the room.

The whole gang was already gathered when Kira and Kato finally arrived.

They just hanged around for some time, but at last, they went to the billiard club. Kira sat to bar and drank tequila, while other boys played the game.

“Could you for a sec?” Yoji spoke to Kato, carefully watching others to make sure they couldn’t hear them.

“Of course. What’s the matter?”

Yoji led him a little further.

“I met Bobby. That bastard’s afraid of cops, so he’s hiding. He’s sent you something.” Yoji pulled a small package of white powder out of his pocket. “He said you would be mad at him, while he’d just got lost and hadn’t left you any supply. Take it for compensation.”

“Yoji... I don’t know... maybe...”

“What’s up with you? It’s the first class. At least, Bobby said so. It’s really something. Here, take it!” Yoji put the package into Kato’s hand.

“All right then,” Kato surrendered and shoved it into a pocket.

They stayed in club until the evening. They had some duels (and Kira several drinks).

Kato looked at Kira sometimes. Every time their looks met, his heart started beating, but he made what he could just to hide his nervousness, however, under these circumstances he played worse than usual. It seemed to him that Kira is pretty amused by watching his poor game.

Only the small package in his pocket was making his mood worse. He needed to get rid of it before Kira would notice that something was wrong.

Boys made fun of him on their way from the club. He laughed with them. As for today, he really played awfully. Kira walked a little ahead and paid no attention to them.

They passed a litter bin. Kato slowed down, he wanted to get rid of the treacherous package. It wasn’t so easy as he thought. He felt like trying this “first-class goods”, he was tempted by the white powder. He’d try, just a bit. And then he’d get rid of it.

//But is it worthy of it?// he thought. //What if Kira notice?// He didn’t want to risk destroying that something forming between the two of them. But it was so tempting...

“Kato! What are you doing there? Hurry!”

Kato twitched. He put the package back into the pocket and ran back to the others.

“What were you doing there?” asked Yoji.

“What? Nothing... Just thinking...”

“Watch it! He thinks!” cried Yoji and roared with laughter.

“Idiot!” said Kato angrily and walked ahead to Kira.

“What now?” asked someone from their gang. “What’re we gonna do?”

“Buy some booze and get stuck somewhere,” was the answer.

Meanwhile, it got dark.

“Kato and I are leaving,” said Kira unexpectedly.

“What? Now?”

“Right. Now.”

“How come so suddenly?”

“I have some work to do and Kato is going through post-traumatic shock because of the death of his father, so letting him with you without any supervision might be dangerous.” After saying these words he grabbed Kato and dragged him away.

“Do you know what he was talking about?” asked someone after a while of silence.

“Not at all.”

“What’s that post-traumatic shock?”

“No idea.”

Their good mood returned after buying a bottle of alcohol.

Part One: Two Stars, One Soul

Hello! Here§s the last chapter of part one. next time it will be part two - just one chapter and also the end.

so enjoy this chapter :))

Two Stars, One Soul

Kato was angry with Kira a little for what he had said. //What’s that post-traumatic shock, anyway?//

He put his hands into the pockets. The package was still there. He hoped he would loose it somewhere. He wasn’t able to through it away.

“What’s the matter? You’re not mad at me for what I said about you, are you?”

“Why have we left them, anyway?” asked Kato, still frowning.

Kira pulled him to himself. “I wanted to be with you alone...”

Kato snuggled up to him. Kira hugged him and kissed gently.

“Won’t we go to my place?” suggested Kato. “I doubt that mother is at home already.”

Kira’s smile told him that he’d agreed.

Really. Kato’s mother wasn’t at home yet. There was a message on an answer phone that she was coming home next day.

“Listen, Yun-chan, When we were in the club, you seemed unworried to me, but from a certain moment you were kinda uneasy. Has something happened?”

Kato gasped. “N-no. Nothing’s happened.”

“Are you sure?” Kira looked suspiciously.

“I-I am.”

“All right then. But if there was something, any problem you wouldn’t know to deal with alone, you know I’m here to help you. If I can do something for you, just tell me. I just want you to be happy.”

Kato felt ashamed. He had the feeling Kira could see into his mind. //That’s not fair!// he thought.

He finally made up his mind:

“You know... there’s really something.” He pulled the package out from his pocket. “ Rid me of this. I can’t do it.” He handed it to Kira.

At first, Kira looked at the package, and then at Kato. He asked nothing. He grabbed his hand, and led him into the bathroom to a washbasin.

“And now pour it out,” he said, and it seemed to Kato that he could catch a bit of disappointment in his voice. He felt bad about it.

“I’m sorry. It was given to me...”

“I don’t want to here anything! Pour it there!” he said gravely.

//It’s the end. //Kato felt a lump in his throat. He shivered of anxiety, and he wasn’t able to move at all. //I’ve disappointed him.// His thoughts tortured him. The immense anger at himself overcame him. //Everything for that miserable thing.// He opened the package and poured its contents out into the washbasin. He let the water flow and watched the white powder being washed away with satisfaction.

He started feeling dizzy. He didn’t even look at Kira. //He’ll leave me. I’m nobody. I can’t fight. I’ve disappointed him. He’ll leave me.//

He ran out of the bathroom, shut himself into his room and lay down onto the bed. //Kira will leave me and he’ll pay an attention to me no more. It’s all my fault.// It hurt so much...

Kira entered the room. He sat onto the bed next to Kato.

“Yun-chan...”

Kato didn’t move.

“I’m proud of you...”

Kato didn’t expect that. He looked suspiciously at Kira.

“Really?”

“Yup... except your flight to the room and slamming the door.”

The relief filled Kato.

“I thought you were mad at me, that you leave me...”

“Idiot! You’re fantasizing! How many times do I need to tell you...”

Kato laughed. Suddenly, the whole situation seemed ridiculous to him. In the light coming into the room from outside, he could see Kira’s surprised face. It seemed to him even more funny. He grabbed his shirt, pulled to himself and kissed him. Kira returned the kiss.

“Look!” said Kato in the moment Kira was kissing his neck. “That two stars... They weren’t so close yesterday.”

Kira looked out from the window. The stars were nearly merging into one.

“I love you, Saa-chan,” Kato whispered.

Kira looked at him, as if he hadn’t understood. After a while, a smile appeared on his face.

“I love you, too, Yun-chan,” he said.

The lights from outside were slowly turning off. Only the starlight, which was illuminating clothes on the floor around the bed, was shining into the room.

Two souls became one in the perfect harmony of the bodies.

Part Two: Death

Hello! It really took me so much time to finish the translation of the fanfic, I'm sorry. But at last I've managed, and here's the last chapter of this story. I hope you'll enjoy it.

Part Two: Death

Kato was sitting on the stairs in front of Kira’s house, looking very serious.

“You’re always talking the same. I don’t feel like waiting for you finally having some time for me any longer. Whenever I come after you, you’re with Mudo or you’re going to him. As you’re doing right now...” It was a clear reproach.

“It’s complicated. And very dark, too. I want to protect you from it. As for these days, I need to be with Setsuna. I’m sorry I’m so seldom with you, but I make it up for you as soon as possible.”

Kato sharply looked at Kira. “And when? In the next century? At first I trusted you, but now I really don’t know what I should think about the whole thing.”

Kira sat down beside Kato. He hugged him and gently kissed on the forehead.

“Wait just a little longer...”

“No, I don’t want to. It can’t be like this anymore. I think it’d be better for both of us to end it.”

“What!?”

“I don’t want to, but it would be better. You’d have more time for the shrimp, and I’d have the right to make you any reproaches no longer.”

“You’re not serious, are you?”

“Definitely. Goodbye, Saa-chan...”

Kato didn’t even look at Kira. He simply stood up and left.

Kira was watching him sadly. //It couldn’t be like this.// He angrily punched a hard stair with his fist. Immediately, he felt a sharp pain. Blood spurted out. After a short while everything’s was like before. //Damn, even the pain I can’t feel as long as I want to!//

Kira was trying his best to keep an eye on Setsuna as long as it was possible. The things had started to move, he could feel it. Some students disappeared without a trail, Yoji from their gang for example. Kira was worried about Kato. Lately, they didn’t see each other at all. Kato was avoiding him apparently.

The things were getting tangled more and more. Someone was trying to make Setsuna’s life even harder. And that someone was using his greatest weakness – the love he felt towards his own sister Sara. Vituperative posters were hanging everywhere. If he isn’t by Setsuna’s side now, the boy can end up very badly.

//Kato... It seems he’s on that muck again.//

Kira couldn’t bear it anymore. If he doesn’t go after Kato, and they don’t have a talk, it will mean the definite end. //Still, he doesn’t have a chance to get out from this mess just by himself...//

Kira hated his own existence. //I’m not human. So why do I care about him so much?//

The look at Kato assured him he had been right. //He’s not just on that muck again, he was caught in a trap from which he can’t get out so easily.//

A great unknown fear overcame Kira. He was human too long. So why shouldn’t he feel like human and be afraid of another human being?

//Kato...//

He was trying to look calm, but he started slowly feeling he wasn’t able to it anymore. Kato was controlled by Rosiel and he couldn’t do anything against it. What worse could have happened? Perhaps that Alexiel would be awoken from her sleep inside Setsuna for a short time and in order to slay Rosiel she would kill Kato.

His own helplessness tortured Kira. He could do nothing, and Kato died. Alexiel killed him, but the blood was on Setsuna’s hands. In that very moment he hated them both. It didn’t matter to him that after his words Setsuna suffered even more. He hates him!

(Arakune:) “... That’s emotion. You were truly human for the ten or so years you have been living in that body. You’re just afraid to admit that. And the one who gave you that heart was not Alexiel, but the normal human being, Mudo Setsuna...”

//Yes. Setsuna taught me to feel... But the greatest feelings were awoken by Kato...//

“Yun-chan...” he whispered as he bent to his dead body. He felt tears flooding down his face.

//I didn’t know what it was... He taught me... I loved him!!!//

“... I promise you, when everything’s over I’ll find you... wherever you’ll be... and whoever... I will find you... and then I’ll be only with you...”

That's the end. I hope you liked the story. I want to apologize for all the grammar mistakes I have made. It is really more difficult to translate something into a foreign language than to write it in the particular language. I want to thak all those people who have read my story, thank you very much. I have already written a second story, but I'm afraid it would take too much time to me to make a new translation. But maybe... who knows? :D

bye bye and have a nice summer!
