| This is a piece I was comissioned for; the customer wanted the same tea box I used for another piece with a picture of Chrysalis showing her lovely side. So I did some sketches and this was the one the customer liked. Done with pyropgraphy tools and special woodburn colors. I sandpapered the whole box by hand to make the wood very smooth, and it's completely oiled with olive oil. The front additionally is sealed with a fixative so the colors are protected from water and fadening.
