| If I would name some of the most influences musical acts of the last few years Yungblud would definitely be on the Top 3 names that I'd mention. His music gives me not only lots of comfort and helps me to accept myself a little bit better. There has been times when I lay down crying in bed blasting "Fleabag" or the entirety of the 21st Century Liability" album . There has been times where I danced to "the funeral" and just had a good time. I even sneaked in a Yungblud shirt during our College Photoshoot, when we had to get photographed for our Website. His whole personality is really inspiring and made me come out of my shell a bit more. Becoming a little bit louder in who I am. (despite I'm quite the opposite of Dom being naturally really quiet lmao) So without a doubt..of course I was going to paint Yungblud at some point. In fact I started this project back in February but put it aside cause I lost my believe for that project. Than a while ago I was going through some WIPS (and oh boi do I have a lot of stuff to finish...) and saw that Painting and thought "Well...lets give it a try now. It has been 5 month, my skills improved a little and lets see how far I can push this project" and what can I say. My imposter Syndrome still says "I could have done better" but there is this part of me that is really happy and very satisfied with this image :) Also, if you swipe, you see some of the sketches that I did in February this year :) As subject matter I chose the scene of "Parents". As it was THE SONG that got me into Yungbluds music. (however if I had to pick my ultimate favorite song of Yungblud it would be "Hope for the underrated Youth" ...but okay, enough of me gushing lol) Are you listening to Yungblud and if so, what is your favorite song? :) |

Mir gefällt auf jeden Fall sein Selbstvertrauen. Das Video zu Parents ist einfach genial.
Mittlerweile denke ich, dass Mars mein Lieblingssong ist. Ich bin total happy, dass du mich auf ihn aufmerksam gemacht hast.
Ist cool geworden. ^^
