Frankie’s Little Vegas

Ich liebe diese Kurzgeschichte, weil sie so schön zeigt, wie tief die Gefühle der beiden füreinander sind und wie sie Tag für Tag diese Gefühle unterdrücken. Da kann man nur hoffen, dass wir in Staffel 6 endlich zu sehen bekommen, wie die Maske der Professionalität endlich Risse bekommt und es die Jisbon-Action gibt, die wir Fans sehen wollen.

Aww, it’s mine, alle mine! Okay, it’s not but I’m a little proud that you could turn my promt into such a lovely piecde of art-with just the right touch of melancholy in it.
Frankie's Little Vegas sounds like just the place Jane would like and choose. It took me a moment to realize, after which “Frankie” it had been named, but when it finally sunk in..yeah, nice gimmick!
And what I liked most (apart from the kiss and the dialogues…the list could go on and on) was when they left and all the magic seemed to be gone:
“Several minutes later they left the bar, accompanied by the sound of Frank Sinatra's All The Way”
I’m not familiar with his songs, so I had to check them. And guess what I found: a very promising (and really, really suitable) bridge: “Who knows where the road will lead us/Only a fool would say/But if you'll let me love you /It's for sure I'm gonna love you all the way all the way”
The kisses and then THE kiss! Do I really need to say more about that?
There were many dialogues that could have been stolen from the show (I’m having high hopes for season six-which is at least partly your fault) but those are my favorites:
"It's all about pretending and believing, Lisbon."
"And of course, just as the queen of the night deserves it, you're dancing with the most charming and handsome gentleman in the room."
And Lisbon..it was so typical how she snorted and that remark. And that moment, later at her door, where they balanced on the knife’s edge for a moment (“If she asked him to stay then he wouldn't have a choice but to spend the rest of the night with her.”) …you really had me hold my breath there for a moment.
But it was so Lisbon to offer and explanation there.
Both of them where just like on the show and van Pelt too, being annoyed and amused by his behavior at the same time.
To sum it up: It was a pleasure, we should play secret santa again 

Mein Lieblingssatz der ganzen Story ;) Super geschrieben, ließ sich wunderbar flüssig lesen (Ohne meine Ungeduld hätte ich kein Wort verstanden :D)
Gerade das Ende ließ sich wunderbar lesen, diese innere Zerissenheit hast du sehr schön beschrieben.

Ein Wort zum letzten Satz hab ich aber noch übrig :P Man kann sich durchaus selbst hypnotisieren, die Selbsthypnose ist ein durchaus gerne verwendetes Mittel, um die Barrieren des eigenen Geistes zu umgehen. Die Selbsthypnose funktioniert im Großen und Ganzen wie eine normale Hypnose, nur dass hierbei der eigene Geist manipuliert wird, beispielsweise um sich das Rauchen abzugewöhnen, negative Gedanken loszuwerden. Gute Hypnotiseure sollten darauf achten, den Patienten ihrer Hypnosetherapie die Grundlagen der Selbythypnose zu vermitteln, sodass diese auch eigenständig zurecht kommen. (Gerade ein Patrick Jane sollte dies wissen, nur so am Rande gesagt :P )
