ok gotta copy/paste the whole paragraph cuz you worded it so nice and aesthetically pleasing, Seto's desperation (and how he truly doesn't rly give a fuck if he wins or loses to Ati by this point anymore) and Ati not rly being as ready to move on as he tried to tell himself seep out between the letters like sweet angsty honey X3
 
(yesssssssss @ Ati = fragments, not fully complete by himself - this concept is so important to me regarding all the "old souls" in YGO)

Schweigesekunde für die Leute, die Seto/Ati und Seto/Yugi als "austauschbar" und "ein und dasselbe" sehen. Which is like. The opposite of the point of them. (tho I admit I tend to forget this very important part about them, too, but remembering it it gets easier for me to see what Ati sees in Seto aside from someone who shares his love of drama in duels *yesss, finally managed to get the "i love ur fic but no homo" nicely built into my comment lol* (jk, this is VERY homo, just a slightly different homo than I'm used to with this ship, but still a very good homo that deserves a 5-star-rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!))

and then he just stands there, frozen, unable to deal even with his OWN FUCKING IMAGINATION, gdi Seto, how are you so ridiculous X3 (his staff, having to watch all this so they can work on constant improvement of the system)must be so done with everything by then. they all just watch empty-eyed, tired, long since numb to everything. they've seen so much already. too much to still feel as uncomfortable as the situation might have made them when they were still new to all this. they're practically dead inside by then. at least as dead as the dude who just delivered my sushi and looked at me exhausted, not even pretending to smile, just handing me the bag with an almost sighed "ur food" and then heading off again.)

and then he's so out of his element over HOW NOT AS OUT OF HIS ELEMENT HE FEELS as the soft things continue and do not feel horribly wrong

Das erste Kapitel hat mir sehr gut gefallen - wie du die Schwelle zwischen Einbildung/Solid Vision und dem was Seto real erlebt beschreibst kommt dem Film (und Setos Konflikt darin) sehr nahe, man fühlt sich direkt wieder in die Atmosphäre des Kinos versetzt.
Kompliment auch für die gute Umsetzung auf Englisch, ich lese gerne englischsprachige fics. :-)

Ahhh :'D Erstmal ungläubig das Bild der FanFiction angestarrt, dann den Namen angestarrt und nochmal die FanFics gecheckt - tatsächlich. Eine Prideshipping FanFiction. Von der Autorin die die absolut schöne FF "Während du schliefst" geschrieben hat. <3 rawr. Gute Erinnerungen.

zur FF: Sehr schön geschrieben. Liest sich flüssig und beschreibt die beiden so schön.... Und ich liebe die Szene wie du ihr Treffen beschrieben hast. Ich hab immer das Gefühl, nach diesem Duell würden Seto's Mauern endlich brechen und er sich eingestehen können, wie sehr er Atem vermisst hat. Umarmt euch endlich. ;___;
