Der etwa 19 Hektar große Bereich des Schlossparks Lützschena erstreckt sich südöstlich des Schlosses Lützschena und gehört zum nördlichen Teil des Leipziger Auwaldes. Er ist zugleich Teil des Naturschutzgebietes Burgaue. Er steht außerdem unter Denkmalschutz.
